No. There are one or two that are set up as displays that you can go into but otherwise as in most museums you can only view. There are volunteers who will explain the different airplanes, their history, etc. They also do restoration.
Yes - it is possible to sit in the cockpit of some of the aircraft and go into the cabins of some of the commercial jets. The whole site is very user- and child-friendly. There is a good café.
