Why Caitlin Clark Meets With Psychologist 'Multiple Times a Week' originally appeared on Athlon Sports. It’s an absolute honor for Caitlin Clark to be widely considered the face of the WNBA. At the same time, however, this esteemed title comes with an undeniable burden.
Clark recently suffered a right groin injury, and after being evaluated by medical staff, she'll remain in recovery and rehabilitation with no time timetable for her return. Her long-term health is the priority, and unfortunately, that means no hoops for now. (Clark will be on the bench for the foreseeable future until she gets better.)
WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark was enjoying some R&R and revealed that she's got the TV setup of a certified ball-watcher in a now-viral Instagram post.
"Clark will continue working with the Fever medical team on her recovery and rehabilitation, with the priority on her long-term health and well-being. There is no timetable available for Clark’s return, and no additional details will be provided at this time. Any further updates will be shared as they become available."
Caitlin Clark is the NCAA's all-time leading scorer after spending four years in Iowa City with the Hawkeyes. On Tuesday, the Iowa women's basketball program made an announcement on Clark showing her commitment to the team even since moving on to the WNBA's Indiana Fever.
With Caitlin Clark still recovering from an injury, the Indiana Fever are adding more depth as they try to endure life without her. On Friday, the Fever announced the signing of basketball veteran Chloe Bibby to a seven-day contract.
