Inter Miami CF may be in the midst of a packed MLS and Concacaf Champions Cup schedule, but the Herons keep on winning. On Matchday 3, Miami put up a 1–0 win over Wilfried Zaha's Charlotte FC to secure their second straight victory in league play after previously beating the Houston Dynamo 4–1 and drawing New York City FC 2–2.

Miami, who is coming off the first leg of its CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16 matchup with Cavalier, started off the season with a hard-fought 2-2 draw with New York City FC. Then, on the road last Sunday, Luis Suarez and Telasco Segovia led the charge in a 4-1 thrashing of the Houston Dynamo.
