HAFJELL, Norway - Marco Odermatt clinched the men's overall and giant slalom World Cup Alpine skiing crystal globes for the fourth year in a row on Saturday after finishing second in a Swiss podium sweep.

Overall World Cup leader Marco Odermatt built a big first-run advantage over rival Henrik Kristoffersen in a giant slalom as the Swiss ski star was on the brink of securing his fourth straight overall title.

Switzerland's Marco Odermatt won his third successive Alpine skiing Super-G World Cup crystal globe, and moved closer to a fourth overall title in a row, in a shortened race won by Italy's Dominik Paris on Sunday.

Marco Odermatt finished second behind Swiss teammate Loic Meillard in a World Cup giant slalom to formally lock up his fourth straight overall and GS titles. The only remaining challenger for the overall title was Henrik Kristoffersen but the Norwegian finished in 16th place.

Swiss skier Marco Odermatt won a fourth consecutive World Cup overall crystal globe on Saturday by finishing second in the giant slalom in Hafjell behind compatriot Loic Meillard. Second place on the day behind Meillard and ahead of another Swiss skier Thomas Tumler also ensured Odermatt the small crystal globe in the giant slalom discipline for the fourth time.
