The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death on Darien Drive Tuesday afternoon. According to police, officers were dispatched around 1:25 p.m. to a home in the 1800 block of Darien Drive for a report of an unresponsive person.

A state trooper was among multiple people wounded Sunday in a series of shooting incidents in Kentucky, Gov. Andy Beshear said in a social media post.

Weathers credited witnesses who stopped to help the trooper, whose identity was not released.
