Ford issues recall for more than 130,000 Lincoln Aviator SUVs due to a risk of parts detaching while driving, with free repairs available for affected owners.

Ford is recalling 132,914 Aviator SUVs in the United States because parts, including rear door window bars, may detach due to insufficient adhesive retention, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Tuesday.

Ford is recalling nearly 133,000 SUVs over two parts that can detach while the car is in motion, potentially causing a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
