India’s D Gukesh had become the youngest world champion in the history of chess, breaking the record previously held by the legendary Garry Kasparov, after defeating Chinese Grandmaster Ding Liren in Singapore in December.

Norwegian chess legend Magnus Carlsen played against 143,000 players from all over the world in a 46-day online freestyle match that ended in a draw.

Magnus Carlsen is vastly successful against just one opponent. And even when he came up against many more, the Norwegian showed he can hold his own.
