Canadian wildfire smoke will significantly impact air quality across Michigan on Friday, with unhealthy conditions expected for sensitive groups and potential scattered thunderstorms this weekend.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for all of Southeast Michigan until 8 p.m. Thursday. Heat index values or feel-like temperatures have reached at least 100 degrees in most communities and could reach as high as 105 degrees.
