Everybody loves a parade. Most people who live in chillier climes aren’t exactly rejoicing when February rolls around — but this year, watchers of the night sky have been positively ecstatic over a rare celestial event taking place.

Seven planets will line up for a "planet parade" on Friday, Feb. 28, as Mercury lines up with Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus and Saturn.
