Tom Cruise will spend the opening night for his highly anticipated upcoming movie, "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning," in Texas. Cruise posted a video on social media Thursday that said he will be in San Antonio on May 22 before then going to Dallas.

In a clip shared on Twitter from a Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning press conference in Tokyo, Cruise said he spent years preparing for the stunt, which involves an airplane and has been teased in the movie's promotional material, including picking out the right plane.

Impossible franchise is about to have its Final Reckoning, with Ethan Hunt and his team scrambling to stop their most dangerous enemy yet — sentient AI. But before the eighth (and possibly last) film of the action series lands in cinemas viewers might want to go back to the very beginning.
