UFC CEO Dana White announced multiple fights for UFC 320, taking place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Ankalaev vs. Pereira 2 is the main event with Dvalishvili vs. Sandhagen serving as the chief support bout. White revealed a third fight for the event, a possible title eliminator between light heavyweights Jiri Prochazka and Khalil Rountree Jr.

Diaz makes his third walk to the octagon, and does so on the heels of his first UFC victory. In his most recent outing, the 34-year-old picked up a unanimous decision win against Djorden Santos at UFC 313 in March. In his promotional debut, Diaz was stopped in the first round by Mingyang Zhang at UFC Macau this past November.

Ankalaev will defend the light-heavyweight title he won against Pereira – at the same venue during UFC 313 in March – while the Brazilian will look to become champion of the division for the second time, after three previous successful defences of the title he won in late 2023.
