Five of the 11 people injured in a stabbing attack at a Traverse City, Michigan, Walmart on July 26 have been treated and released from the hospital, health system officials said Friday.

As we were all processing the stabbings, there was the mass shooting at a New York City office building on Monday, resulting in five deaths, including the gunman.

Five of the 11 people stabbed by a Cheboygan man at a Traverse City area Walmart store last weekend have been released from the hospital, while the rest continue to improve, officials announced Friday. In addition to those released, four patients are in good condition and two have been treated and transferred, according to Munson Medical Center.
