A video captured from the oceanside city of Coolangatta in Queensland shows the moment that the storm caused a young surfer to lose his footing trying to seek shelter.

After an exhaustive search for a 5-year-old boy in a rain-swollen creek in Southern California, officials found the child's body in the water Thursday, buried under 6 to 8 feet of debris.

Rain wreaked havoc on the second day ... sheltered under his hoodie and umbrella, invited the ball boy holding said umbrella to seek shelter under it with him. The boy agreed.
