Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon products recalled in October 2024 are now considered to be a Class 1 recall, the FDA’s most serious warning.

This salmon is sold at Costco, and its recall was initially issued in October of last year. According to Prevention, Costco’s Kirkland Signature Salmon has been officially deemed by the administration a Class 1 risk.

The FDA shared the new classification of an October Costco smoked salmon recall as Class 1, the highest level. The fish tested positive for listeria.
