The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has granted Gov. Josh Stein’s request for an extension for state, tribal, and local governments, as well as some non-profit organizations, to apply for its Public Assistance program.

FEMA has extended the deadline for L.A. wildfire victims to apply for federal aid to March 31. It was set to expire on March 10.
