To compete the plans, the Steelers just need to find their version of Jalen Hurts, which might very well be Justin Fields if Pittsburgh can re-sign him.

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero is reporting the Pittsburgh Steelers are acquiring two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DK Metcalf in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. Metcalf is also expected to sign a five-year, $150 million contract from Pittsburgh. He is now under contract through the 2029 season.

DK Metcalf has been traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Metcalf had requested a trade Wednesday after the Seahawks moved quarterback Geno Smith to the Raiders. Seattle received a second-round pick and the teams swapped picks in the seventh round.
