Jersey Shore tennis fans cheered on Freehold Township native Amanda Anisimova, who was defeated in straight sets in the Wimbledon women's final.

Sports fans were hoping to see an electric Wimbledon final between Amanda Anisimova and Iga Swiatek. Instead, they watched one of the worst matches in recent memory. Anisimova won a lot of people over during her run at Wimbledon because of her incredible play and inspiring story.

Amanda Anisimova thanked her mother for flying to London to watch her play in the Wimbledon final and for all of her help through the years.
