Lionesses manager Sarina Wiegman and players hailed a "proper England" performance after they hammered the Netherlands 4-0 in Zurich on Wednesday.

England and Sarina Wiegman put right everything they had got wrong against France. Lauren James was moved back to the right side of the attack and showed her class with two superb strikes. Ella Toone came into the team and capped off a hard-working performance with a deserved goal.

England have put their Euro 2025 campaign back on track with a 4-0 victory against the Netherlands on Wednesday night. The reigning European champions got off to a nightmare start in Group D last Saturday as they were beaten 2-1 by France in their opening game.
