A woman from Fort Pierce died early Monday morning after a shooting outside an Airbnb rental in Fort Lauderdale, police said.

Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a shooting that they say left a 19-year-old woman dead early Monday morning at an Airbnb in the city’s River Oaks neighborhood.

Police are looking for the person who shot a young woman at an Airbnb vacation home rental in Fort Lauderdale early Monday morning. The Fort Pierce woman, 19-year-old Myrah Zeigler, was shot around 4:30 a.m. and found by officers on the road outside the home at the 900 block of Southwest 16th Street, police said.
