Parts of Canada are seeing some of their most unhealthy air yet, and the smoke is likely to move over the United States again this weekend.

If you’ve walked outside in Winnipeg lately, you’ve probably noticed there’s a smell of smoke in the air. The Government of Canada continues to issue a high-risk alert for several parts of the province.

The air quality is reaching dangerous levels in parts of the Upper Midwest and north central U.S., where copious amounts of smoke from wildfires in Canada are wafting south across the international border.
