Wolves clinched the signing of Red Star Belgrade defender Nasser Djiga before Monday night's transfer deadline.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed centre back Nasser Djiga from Red Star Belgrade and midfielder Marshall Munetsi from Stade de Reims, the Premier League said early on Tuesday at the close of the transfer window.

Wolves have signed centre-back Nasser Djiga from Red Star Belgrade on a deal until 2030. The 22-year-old Burkina Faso international has made 27 appearances for Red Star Belgrade this season, including all eight games in the Champions League group stage.

Less than half-an-hour later, Wolves announced that they had also finalised the signing of Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi. Although a transfer fee has not been disclosed, it has been widely alleged that Wolves are acquiring the Zimbabwe international for a fee of £16.6m.
