Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for several counties in Northern Illinois over the course of the evening Thursday. One such warning was issued at 7:39 p.m. for Lake County and eastern McHenry County,

Forecasters say isolated thunderstorm cells could become strong enough to produce small hail and wind gusts that could topple trees and power lines.

On Thursday at 7:36 p.m. a severe thunderstorm warning was released by the NWS Raleigh NC in effect until 8:15 p.m. for Chatham and Lee counties.
