On Saturday, May 10, the Golden State Warriors fell to a 102-97 defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was the second game the Warriors were without Stephen Curry, who is dealing with a grade one hamstring strain.

Butler was excellent against the Timberwolves on Saturday night, dropping in 33 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Jonathan Kuminga also added 30 points off the bench, as the two forwards combined for nearly two-thirds of the Warriors' total offensive output on the evening.
