Explosions rocked Kharkiv, Kamianske, and Dnipro as Russia launched waves of missiles, drones, and guided aerial bombs overnight on July 26. Kharkiv's Kyviskyi district has been hit twice by ballistic missiles.

Ukraine and Russia attacked targets on each other's territory on Thursday after brief direct talks between the two sides failed to make any progress on steps to end nearly three-and-a-half years of war.

Ukraine has occasionally targeted the Russian capital, but has doubled down on drone strikes on Moscow in recent days.
