The second round has started out with a series of upsets on the road, showing things are even at the top of the NBA.

The field is set for the second round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Only eight teams are still in the running to win the title. That includes the top seed in each conference, the West's OKC Thunder and the East's Cleveland Cavaliers.

Sixteen teams in total make the NBA playoffs, eight teams from both the Eastern and Western Conference. The top six seeds in each conference advance based on the regular season record. The final two seeds in each conference are determined by the NBA Play-In Tournament.
