Toyota announced updates to its European EV offerings, including an electric version of the Toyota C-HR called the C-HR Plus, and a refreshed bZ4X that addresses many of the electric crossover’s shortcomings.

You probably remember the Toyota C-HR , a small, gasoline-powered crossover with funky styling that went on sale in Canada from 2018 to 2022. Well, the all-new C-HR+ unveiled for the first time today across the Atlantic is a completely different,

HR+, a surprisingly stylish electric SUV. The smaller SUV will sit below the bZ4X and offer more range, a sleek new look, and faster charging. With an expected lower price tag, the Toyota C-HR+ could just be the affordable electric SUV we’ve been waiting for.

Toyota revealed its all-electric C-HR+ SUV, a concept of which was first shown in 2022. The new EV from Toyota will launch in select European markets by late 2025 and join the larger bZ4X and the recently unveiled Urban Cruiser EV.

Toyota’s C-HR compact SUV is going electric. The swoopy battery-powered SUV was revealed in Europe, and initially looks to be for the continent only. Dubbed the C-HR+, Toyota said it would be launched in selected European countries this year before a wider rollout across the union next year.
