TORONTO (AP) — Air Canada said Tuesday it will gradually restart operations after reaching an agreement with the union for 10,000 flight attendants to end a strike.

Union leaders for Air Canada’s flight attendants said members would return to work after a deal was reached to end a three-day strike that grounded hundreds of flights, hitting around 500,000 customers.

About 10,000 cabin crew walked out on Saturday in a protest over pay, but mediated talks led to a breakthrough.
