Large swaths of northern Gaza have been turned into ‘lifeless wastelands’ due to Israel’s intensifying assault.

Prominent reporter Anas al-Sharif and six other journalists were killed when Israel targeted a tent used by media, the broadcaster said.

Al Jazeera, five of whose reporters the broadcaster said were killed by an Israeli strike, has angered governments across the region that claim it gives voice to terrorists. The outlet denies that.
