The Houston Astros have called up outfielder Jacob Melton, one of their top prospects, the team announced Sunday. Infielder/outfielder Zach Dezenzo was placed on the 15-day injured list with left hand inflammation in a corresponding move.

While he was preparing on the field Saturday prior to Triple-A Sugar Land’s game at Albuquerque, Astros No. 2 prospect Jacob Melton noticed another player who was originally out of the lineup grabbing a glove and heading out to the field.
