The Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man who died aboard a Galveston-based Carnival cruise ship.

The FBI is investigating a death that occurred onboard Carnival Dream, but foul play is not suspected at this time.

An autopsy Monday indicated the death likely was related to a medical issue, and there were no physical signs of trauma, the Galveston County Medical Examiner’s office said.
