The New York Giants, if things hold, will be picking first during the 2025 NFL Draft, but who will be making that selection and who will be coaching that player seems uncertain as team owner John Mara evaluates the futures of general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll.

Although Schoen and Daboll were both hired in January 2022 following their successful tenures with the Bills, co-owner John Mara will evaluate them separately at the end of the season.

If the Giants do fire Schoen, in addition to Daboll, let’s take a look at who could become their next GM. First, some context: Schoen’s predecessor, Dave Gettleman, lasted four seasons on the job after replacing two-time Super Bowl winner Jerry Reese.
