Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he rejected a lucrative move to Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal to stay at Manchester United. The United captain said he wants to carry on playing in the major competitions and said that manager Ruben Amorim kept asking him to remain at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes says he is “happy” with his decision to stay at Manchester United following a lucrative offer to leave the club from Saudi Arabia. The Athletic reported on Friday that, Fernandes, 30, was giving serious consideration to an approach from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

Ruben Amorim does not believe that Bruno Fernandes has played his last game for Manchester United amid sustained transfer interest from Al-Hilal.
