Rodney Hinton Jr., who authorities say intentionally hit and killed an Ohio sheriff’s deputy with a car after his son was fatally shot by police, will remain in jail without bond while he awaits trial on a murder charge.

A disturbance broke out in an Ohio courtroom on Tuesday as Rodney Hinton Jr., the man accused of killing a Hamilton County sheriff's deputy on May 2, a day after his son was fatally shot by Cincinnati police, appeared for a bond hearing.

Rodney Hinton Jr. is charged with aggravated murder after allegedly striking Deputy Larry Henderson with his car following his son's fatal police shooting.
