Nvidia admits to having a limited supply of RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 GPUs and says "stockouts may happen" for these graphics cards.

Nvidia’s RTX 50-series GPUs are just around the corner, with the first releases — the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 — dropping on January 30th. The RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 will follow that with their own releases in February, but some are already getting a sneak peek at the GPUs’ software benefits through DLSS 4.

Nvidia’s RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 are set to release later this month, and there’s no doubt that they’ll end up being some of the of the year. Unfortunately, it also seems that they might be hard to come by,

EE has announced it will be stocking NVIDIA’s all-new GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards for UK consumers, which include the GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070. The move comes as EE looks to expand its PC gaming offering in 2025, as part of its ongoing ambition to become the UK’s number one destination for gaming.

Nvidia say that they consider the RTX 4090's melting power adapter problem to be long fixed, and it shouldn't reappear on the upcoming RTX 5090 and RTX 5080.

Nvidia's upcoming RTX 50-series GPUs have some exclusive features, but Nvidia doesn't rule out the possibility of backporting them.
