A 4-year-old child was rescued after a brief standoff, the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jose Gallegos Galean-Maria was charged with aggravated assault and theft of a firearm, according to Sevier County deputies.

"Now the shabby little neighborhood we one knew is completely unrecognizable," Zach Land said, announcing Landing House is closing on Sevier Avenue.
