According to ESPN’s FPI index, Louisiana is the favorite to win the Sun Belt after losing to Marshall in the championship last season. The Aggies have almost always been good this century but rarely great. Only once since 1998 have they reached double digits in wins, which, of course, was their SEC debut season in 2012, when America came under the spell of Johnny Manziel. Been downhill pretty much ever since, which is not the kind of results they’ve been paying for.
