The Bills' James Cook remains confident about securing a contract extension that meets his demands while participating in training camp, calling the Bills a "great organization."

NFL Media Lead Draft Writer Eric Edholm posted an article Wednesday about players who could be on the hot seat as far as being replaced in the lineup this training camp.

On Wednesday, the Buffalo Bills had their first day of work as they began a two-and-a-half-week stay in Rochester.

This year it’s two weeks of training camp, starting July 23, during which time the Bills will conduct 10 practices open to the public.

Joe Andreessen continues to impress in his second training camp with the Buffalo Bills, earning consistent reps with the second-team defense. The undrafted rookie free agent from 2024 made last year’s roster primarily on special teams, but his role could expand in 2025.

"Josh is here," said head coach Sean McDermott during an OTAs media availability. "I think it says everything. He is the face of our organization. He's the leader of our team. When he's here, like anything else as a leader, it speaks and it holds a tremendous amount of weight."

The Rochester area is set to welcome the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday as the team prepares for its upcoming season.

The Buffalo Bills had a philosophy heading into the offseason on defense: Get bigger and better on the line. Buffalo opted not to bring back Von Miller and made multiple additions in free agency and in the draft.
