The death toll from a 7.7-magnitude earthquake one week ago that struck Myanmar rose to 3,354 people as millions have been made homeless and are in need of medical care.

The human cost of last month's 7.7-magnitude earthquake that rocked Myanmar and Thailand is still rising more than a week later.

A further 4,850 people are injured and 220 missing - while rescuers have saved 653 survivors trapped under the debris, according to Myanmar state-run media.
