A Russian ballistic missile strike on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy killed at least 20 people on Sunday morning, the city's acting mayor said.

Photos and videos of the aftermath show bloodied bodies scattered in the streets around the impact of the missiles.

On April 13, 2025, on Palm Sunday, a Russian ballistic missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Sumy resulted in at least 30 people killed and over 80 wounded.
