Fortnite developer claims win against Apple and Google
An Australian court ruled that Apple and Google misused their market dominance. This relates to the Fortnite game dispute. Epic Games, the developer, sued after Apple and Google removed Fortnite. The court found their app store dominance reduced competition.
A judge rules that Apple and Google breached competition laws by removing the game in 2020, but the return date isn't known.
"The injunction will make it easier for scammers, foreign adversaries, and other malicious actors to take advantage of Android users," Google tells a federal appeals court.
