Kentucky State Police officials have identified the trooper who was shot during a string of shootings that left two people dead in Lexington July 13.

Records show that the man accused of the deadly Lexington church shooting had a history of aggression toward law enforcement.

After barging into the church and realizing his apparent target wasn’t inside, the killer declared, “Well, someone’s gonna have to die, then” before he opened fire, witnesses said.
