KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Another round of snowfall moved through the Kansas City region overnight, leaving additional snowfall behind. KSHB 41 Meteorologist Cassie Wilson said the snow depth Thursday night was 8 inches. With Friday morning's snowfall, the snowpack is 10.4 inches.

Kansas City International Airport, for example, has an 85% chance of snowfall exceeding .1 of an inch, according to data from the weather service. The probability of higher snowfall totals drops rapidly, with only a 50% chance of snowfall exceeding 1 inch. The chance of 2 inches or more of snow is less than 10%.

Kansas City is gearing up for the possibility of more snow, while still clearing snow-packed streets from last weekend’s blizzard.
