Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love explained his reasoning for undergoing thumb surgery on Thursday. Head coach Matt LaFleur also provided a positive update following the procedure, noting the quarterback should return to the field soon.

Jordan Love did have to have surgery on his thumb. There is now some concern that the Packers will have to change their offense in a big way.

While Jordan Love won’t practice or play against the Colts, coach Matt LaFleur anticipates “there’ll be some sort of participation next week.”
