Forecasters from AccuWeather say confidence is growing that next week's storm could be an all-snow event in the New Jersey region.

EST an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from noon EST until Sunday midnight EST for Midland, Bay and Huron counties.

A winter weather advisory goes into effect late Friday night in the Twin Cities as a snow-filled storm system approaches.

The National Weather Service issued a weather alert at 3:15 p.m. EST on Saturday for snow showers until 6:15 p.m. EST for Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe counties.

Another storm system will begin moving into the region on Tuesday, bringing a likely WJZ First Alert Weather Day due to the potential for heavy snow and ice. Right now, this system appears to bring a significant round of snow to the area, though a wintry mix is possible depending on the storm's track.
